
What are Somatic Exercises
Somatic exercises are a way we can offer cues of safety and support to our autonomic nervous system (ANS) and help shift it towards ventral vagal. The exercises are fast and easy and so profound in the effect they can have while reconnecting us to our body.
As your Nervous System Wholeness Coach, I can coach you in simple exercises to regulate your own autonomic nervous system. You will have the resources to become the expert in your own system while connecting to your body with somatic exercises.

As one of Dr. Aimie’s Somatic Mentors, I can come alongside you on your own journey into your nervous system and help support you in mastering the exercises and making them your own.
Please note that I am NOT a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and that this is NOT therapy. I share body exercises that can help shift the nervous system towards ventral vagal and offer a somatic (ie body) experience to help regulate the nervous system.
