We’ve become disconnected from ourselves resulting in not knowing how to listen to what our body is trying to tell us. This creates dis-ease and is the root cause of all our symptoms from anxiety and depression, to illness and stress, to lack of connection with ourselves and others. We can learn the language of the nervous system by tuning in to the sensations in the body. Applying Polyvagal Theory, we can shift the nervous system to a calm state by providing the body a felt sense of safety and support. As we learn to listen to and respond to the impulses from our body and our parts, we can repair past woundings and begin to increase our capacity for showing up in life how we want, as our true authentic self, open to connection with ourselves and others. I can coach you to do this for yourself. I trust the innate wisdom of the body’s design to know what it needs to complete cycles, release stored trauma, and step into wholeness. I allow the body to guide the process.
Additionally, I use IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback (MCN), which gives the system a boost on its path to calm focus.
I also understand that there are parts of us that, through necessity at that time, have become fragmented. I can coach you to work with those parts somatically through body sensations. I integrate both somatic parts work and somatic EMDR interventions into my coaching practice.
